Tristan?

I have been thinking about possibly adding this name to our list for DC2. My thinking was it's a 'known' name but not overly common place.

However my MW just happened to mention that she's seen 3 newborns over the last 2 weeks called Tristan and how she's never met one in 15yrs of being a MW, then 3 in very quick concession.

How many do you know, under 5yrs?

Thanks

Thank you for the feedback, whist I like the name DH isn't sure. He seems to think it will be a name that would be judge, in a posh middle class way.

Oddly we are very middle class WinkShockWink

Just today a new born Tristan popped up on my FB feed; son of a school acquaintance. Not exactly sure where they live but I think it is somewhere Home Counties.

I thought I'd picked the perfect unusual name. Unfortunately every other mother in my town thought the same. They are everywhere Hmm

I fear if you want an unusual name, you're going to have to pick a good middle-aged name - Barry, Derek, Colin, Brian...
