Just that, really. Which do you prefer?

Oh gosh not savannah!

Fleur is beautiful

Lydia is classy.

Fleur.

sydenhamhiller · 10/01/2014 21:26

Fleur.
When I was 10 ish, we lived abroad on a company compound. A Dutch family had 3 girls, and the littlest was called Fleur. It just struck me as the most beautiful name, and I have loved it ever since.

I have 2 daughters, and DH used his joker card to block that name both times!

Fleur is beautiful, my mum almost named me it. However I have Yorkshire accent and if you say Fleur it sounds like someone very I'll! If you have a nice accent go for it.

I do love savannah though

My dd is Lydia and is not prim and proper at all! She's cheeky and sparky and funny. So obviously that's the perfect choice!! No one's called her chlamydia yet - but she is only 5...

Britishseamonkey · 12/01/2014 09:25

Lydia is lovely but at some if not many points she hear clamydia jokes although I love the nn liddy

Fleur is gorgeous when pronounced properly but so often isn't - depends if that bothers you
Savannah - nice enough but not my cup of tea?
Are you leaning any particular way?

Grumblelion · 12/01/2014 09:27

Lydia, then Fleur.

Really not keen on Savannah sorry.

The Queen's first great grand child is called Savannah.Wonder if she suggested Lydia instead. I think I would've.

willyoulistentome · 12/01/2014 21:03

I bet Queen ie wasn't happy with Savvanah. Haha!!

ROARmeow · 12/01/2014 21:08

My DD is Lydia.

Frequently gets called Olivia, which makes me Hmm Not sure if it's our accent (from N. Ireland) or if it's just because Olivia is much more popular.
