Baby was due yesterday Hmm
Could be a boy or a girl.
What do you all think of Gloria for a girl?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Love it! It is dated, but in a retro-chic kind of way. Very, very cool. Are you a hipster?

PrammyMammy · 22/12/2013 21:59

Ah rindercella you've got me singing now.
It's the first girls name dh and I have agreed on and I really love it. Grin

Considered this for dd, after Gloria Steinem. It's a lovely name, strong and unusual. In the end we decided it was too old-lady tho. Still like it!

Mishmashofstyles · 22/12/2013 21:39

Beautiful.
I will add it to my list of wonderful names I sadly can't use because I'm not having any more.

Confuseddd · 22/12/2013 21:36

Love it

hawkmcqueen · 22/12/2013 21:35

Glorious! Really rounded name with fab meaning.

squoosh · 22/12/2013 21:33

I love it! Strong, feisty name.

SavoyCabbage · 22/12/2013 21:17

Love it! There's a Gloria in dd's school. She's about 11.

Annunziata · 22/12/2013 21:15

Wonderful, especially for a Christmas baby!

Skogkat · 22/12/2013 20:53

I think it sounds a bit dated, but I'm not really sure why. I don't dislike it but I don't like it either (which means I'm no help, essentially...) If you like it, go for it!

Rindercella · 22/12/2013 20:52

Good luck by the way Prammy Xmas Smile

Rindercella · 22/12/2013 20:51

Gloria is a marvellous name. But it does make me want to burst into

thehouseoflego · 22/12/2013 20:39

Love it, I know a Gloria she is utterly wonderful glorious in fact

She's nearly 17 now!

LCHammer · 22/12/2013 20:30

It's nice. One of the characters in s F Scott Fitzgerald book. I can't remember which and his characters were always a bit flawed but I've liked the name since then.
