Baby girl names

Recently found out I am having a girl. I find I am very fussy with names. Took a long time to name ds and it was his dad that picked his name.

Ds name is Herbie so need a name that goes with it.

Names I like

Holly (Dp vetoed)
Amelia (Dp vetoed)
Annabelle (not sure which spelling to use)
Grace
Naomi.

That's all I can think of for now. Middle name I'm thinking Jayne but that hasn't been decided either.

I really dislike 'granny chic' names such as Margaret, Mabel, Elizabeth, Peggy, etc so please no suggestions like that. Also no Irish names.

I like some older names but that don't sound really old for example Sarah, Ella, Emma.

Thanks if you have read this far.

DP said no to Phoebe, Georgina, Rebecca, Imogen, Juliet, Francesca so he doesn't like classic names?

Can you give us an idea of names your DP likes to find a common ground?

Does he like Hannah?

Twighlightsparkle · 21/12/2013 11:11

Eleanor, Ellen, Anna, hope.

ThedementedPenguin · 21/12/2013 15:53

honey he likes mostly the same names but other than Molly which I've said no to he hasn't came up with any. I'll ask again later.

Eleanor-too old for me.
Ellen-my cousins name
Anna- his cousins name
hope- I don't think it sounds right with surname.
