Sister for Grace and Rupert

Hello

Have name changed for this.

My and DH can't think of a girls name we like, it feels impossible. The closest we have got is Phoebe but we aren't sure it's the one and DH hates the character in Friends which isn't helping.

We were absolutely certain on a Grace and no other name was discussed.

Boys names we liked were Oliver and Finn but we went with Rupert.

We prefer short names and like quite classical names. Our surname is one syllable and starts with the letter T.

I'm not keen on Olivia, Sophia, Emily, Daisy, Isla which have all been suggested (nothing wrong with them, just not for me). We just can't think of any name we like. I don't dislike Skye but DH says too hippy. He likes Holly but I'm really not keen, too seasonal and a friends DD is called Holly.

Please help!

Have decided DH is fussier than me!

Ottilie I've not heard of, I like it but far too unusual for us!

Felicity was mentioned before, has horrible connotations for me as was name of somebody who bullied me at school.

Like Serena but DH has vetoed.

Ottilie (nn Tilly or Otty)

Vijac · 28/11/2013 21:44

Or Xanthe. Love Chloe and Tilly.

NameMyGirl · 28/11/2013 21:44

A good friend is Emma.

Still Chloe or Tilly ... But veering towards Chloe as goes better with our surname.

Can we have Tilly as a name in its own right?

Although not sure it goes with our surname. Really do like it though.

Short list is Chloe and Tilly
Then Phoebe, Rose and Ellie also under consideration (but not front runners)
