Sister for Grace and Rupert

Hello

Have name changed for this.

My and DH can't think of a girls name we like, it feels impossible. The closest we have got is Phoebe but we aren't sure it's the one and DH hates the character in Friends which isn't helping.

We were absolutely certain on a Grace and no other name was discussed.

Boys names we liked were Oliver and Finn but we went with Rupert.

We prefer short names and like quite classical names. Our surname is one syllable and starts with the letter T.

I'm not keen on Olivia, Sophia, Emily, Daisy, Isla which have all been suggested (nothing wrong with them, just not for me). We just can't think of any name we like. I don't dislike Skye but DH says too hippy. He likes Holly but I'm really not keen, too seasonal and a friends DD is called Holly.

Please help!

I don't think Chloe is dated; I think it goes well with the two you have.

I took too long to post, 2ticks beat me to it!!

ZombieMonkeyButler · 28/11/2013 22:44

Well, as you liked Oliver for a boy, how about Olivia?

Or Louisa?

Or Eliza?

Although my instincts are saying Grace, Rupert & Lucy Grin.

purpleloosestrife · 28/11/2013 22:44

if you love Alice, then consider

Sara or Sarah - equally short, classic and beautiful.

either Sah-ra or Sair-a pronunciations would work amazingly with Rupert and Grace.

or Jemima

I have a Grace. Her little sister is Polly. Not to everyone's taste but we love it!

They are not at all poncy, don't worry.

ExcuseTypos · 28/11/2013 22:35

You don't need pontastic.

You just need a classic name, as are Rupert and Grace.

Not Tam? Awww, there go my sci-fi hopes Grin

In that case, how about something classic, like Margaret or Patricia?
