GIRLS:

Flora
Juniper
Clementine
Orietta
Ivy
Dulcie

BOYS:

Zephyr
Caspar
Ruis (roo-ish,meaning-elder tree-associated with winter solstice)
Asa
Otis

Im well aware most of them are quite marmite...but we like them.
Siblings are Skye & Arlo, surname is P e r r y-G e o r g e.

Ha! I was going to say that I'd perhaps look at not which is the best name but which you could rule out. My suggestion was going to be strike Ivy and Flora first due to popularity. I always think of you as somebody who likes names that are a bit different and less commonly used and wouldn't have expected to see Ivy or Flora on your list but can see why they are. Juni is really pretty. I was going to call ds Josephine if he was a girl but he would have been a Sephie or a Phin day to day. Obviously his penis got in the way of these plans... Anyway, my point is, while frilly they're also beautiful and Clem and Juni are great nicknames.

It's too hard. This is why I'm having no more.

Zephyr and Caspar are my favourites,followed closely by Ruis (I love the connection/meaning and I LOVE the NN Ru.)
Asa is awesome but seeing as I can avoid using another A initial,I probably should.
Otis is also V cool.

how am I ever going to decide?!

I'm not the sort of person who can decide once the baby's here. I find babies never 'look' like any name fits in particular,because they're such a blank canvas,so perfectly new,no name will fit until they grow into it....

I Love Ivy and Flora,but I'm worried about increasing popularity,especially with Ivy...
Juniper and Clementine are,I agree a little frilly in comparison with the other two,but I do love them and they'll end up being Clem and Juni I expect...perhaps they should be middles instead though.
Orietta has now been vetoed by DP.
Dulcie may win by default....

This thread absolutely won't help you because people will all like different names as they're all great names and you'll rule them neither in nor out. I don't know how you choose. Ask the children? We let dd name her brother in the end because we just couldn't decide. Obviously you can give them the list and insist they pick from it because otherwise you'll end up with a Buzz Peace Lily.

I could argue a case for all of the names, they all have pros and cons. Caspar is bloody brilliant, Zephyr too, can't pick between them. Juniper stands out as my favourite for a girl but I also know a Clem who is possibly the most beautiful girl I've ever met and I have a particular fondness for the name.

I know you've decided on Zephyr- but it does sound like a girl's name to me. Rafferty goes well with your last name and Raff is fab.

For girls, a tie between Ivy and Flora. Slight edge to Ivy.

LOVE Ivy and Flora. (Did you know Flora Macdonald was the Jacobite heroine who helped Bonnie Prince Charlie escape to Skye? Nice Scottish tie in with your other DD's name there!) Think juniper and clementine don't flow with your surname quite so well and feel frilly next to Skye and Arlo.

Otis I think goes best with your other names, like Caspar too. (Scandinavian spelling Kaspar is one I quite like, even if it is a dreaded K!)

I like them all, but do think Clementine with 4 syllables is to much of a contrast to the single syllable of your other kids. I think Ivy goes best.

All the boys are cool, though I would avoid another A initial. Ruis is new on me, but I rather like it. Think Casper has the edge.

Zephyr for a boy definitely. I've just mulled over Otis for a few minutes and I actually really like it too, especially considering your other childrens names.

Clementine for a girl. It was on my list but DP hated it. Dulcie just reminds me of Dulce de Leche - tasty.

Love Clementine for a girl - sounds so Christmassy and orange blossom is so beautiful too, as is the gorgeous smell of clemintines.
I think Zeph (Zephyr) for a boy would be cool, also Otis (sounds musical) or Caspar would be seasonal - wasn't he one of the wise men?
Lovely name choices - like how so many go with the season Smile
