Flora and Otis

I also really like Clementine and Caspar but I don't think they go as well with sibs and surname.

maishoffwcingras · 25/11/2013 13:42

I like Flora or Dulcie. Clementine with your surname is insanely long and doesn't really go with your other names. I do like Juniper, but prefer Juno?

Asa for a boy. I just love it.

babyfedleaning · 23/11/2013 14:15

Its that woman from countryfile - Julia Bradbury. She calls him Zee.

squoosh · 23/11/2013 13:41

I'm sure a celeb had a baby boy Zephyr recently, can't quite remember who though.

curlew · 23/11/2013 13:40

I am going to keep saying that Zephyr is a girl's name. And that even for a girl, a name meaning a soft warm breeze is a bit much. For a 6ft rugby player..........

Ham69 · 23/11/2013 13:30

But also think Zephyr and Flora would work.

Ham69 · 23/11/2013 13:29

Sorry but with your surname Juniper ends up sounding like 'Juniper berry George'. That would definitely take that name out of the equation for me.

With your other two DC's names, i'd go for:
Clementine
Asa

Mumrose · 23/11/2013 13:06

Ivy and Ruis Smile

BoreOfWhabylon · 23/11/2013 13:00

Juniper immediately makes me think of the smell of gin. Imagine a little gin-smelling baby!

No no no

Flora smells of margarine. Again, just no.

BoreOfWhabylon · 23/11/2013 12:57

No no no to Zephyr or Caspar. They make me feel funny for some inexplicable reason.

Clementine also makes me feel funny, but that is because, in my mind, it would be shortened to 'Clem', which makes me think of 'phlegm'.

I realise I may be the only one who thinks like this Grin

Artandco · 23/11/2013 11:18

What about juniper acacia ?

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 23/11/2013 10:44

Zephyr Asa Ruis and Zephyr Caspar Ruis are both fab!

You're right about Paccia,I hadn't thought...another one off the list is good,though!

OP posts:
cloggal · 23/11/2013 10:27

Paccia makes Juniper and your surname very 'peter piper picked...'. Love Mabel as a mn (and actually as a name altogether but don't want to put the at amongst the pigeons!)

Agree Zephyr Ruis blends, and Zephyr Otis Ruis makes the two mn's too similar-

What about
Zephyr Asa Ruis
Zephyr Milo Ruis
Zephyr Caspar Ruis

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 23/11/2013 10:14

I really want to keep Ruis in there as a MN I think...I love the meaning.

Zephyr Ruis?
Or does it need another name in between them to stop them blending together?

Juniper Ivy
Juniper Flora
Juniper Paccia (Pash-ee-a meaning peace)
Juniper Mabel

My 2 favourite for each:

GIRLS:

Clementine
Ivy

BOYS:

Caspar
Ruis (roo-ish,meaning-elder tree-associated with winter solstice)

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 23/11/2013 09:58

I like Zephyr Otis Cloggal

Sorry X post!

cloggal · 23/11/2013 09:54

Zephyr Otis!!

Definitely Flora, or Juniper with a nn that's usually used (Juno!) :)

Flora Clementine?

ChippingInLovesAutumn · 23/11/2013 09:50

One question please say yes this is your last baby isn't it?

ChippingInLovesAutumn · 23/11/2013 09:50
Grin
Artandco · 23/11/2013 09:45

Do you need a middle name? If so:

Flora clementine

Otis Zephyr

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 23/11/2013 09:44

MN rearranged my post and now it looks weird...I meant

Juniper or Flora

Zephyr or Caspar

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 23/11/2013 09:42
