I know an annalei and she loves her name

Harrin · 18/11/2013 20:24

It reminds me of Leanne? Just the other way round

NationMcKinley · 16/11/2013 19:07

Dulwich would be a very distinguished boys name Grin

Layl77 · 16/11/2013 19:03

Anally!
Same problem as Anais which I love (anus)

womma · 16/11/2013 19:01

Oh miranda if only Sydenham we're the UK version if Sydney! In reality it would be pretty difficult to compare!

CarryOnDancing · 16/11/2013 18:47

I see it's been scratched off now. I also thought it looked a little made up. I think Annalise is very lovely though!

MirandaGoshawk · 16/11/2013 17:02

Womma Grin Sydenham sounds like a UK version of Sydney. And Bromley is the UK version of Brooklyn so much classier!

squoosh · 15/11/2013 23:12

I think it was the name of one of the young women who was murdered by the Ipswich serial killer a few years ago. Sorry! But it immediately popped into my mind, and I'm not even one of those weirdos who takes a particular interest in serial killers.

womma · 15/11/2013 22:51

I like Syd(enham) for a boy, very distinguished!

MirandaGoshawk · 14/11/2013 19:32

Oh yes, I know what you mean! Bromley is so much classier but maybe better for a boy. How about Crystal Palace?

Rhubarbgarden · 13/11/2013 22:11

I used to know an Annaleigh. I always thought of the area of S. London when I saw her. Poor girl.

surroundedbyblondes · 13/11/2013 21:46

Also know a grown-up Annalee. She is a wonderful, intelligent, warm, capable and witty woman.

MrsRV · 13/11/2013 21:44

anally.... thanks for drawing this to my attention.... OFF LIST!!! Grin Grin

Blatherskite · 13/11/2013 21:41

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who thought 'Anally' !!

moobaloo · 13/11/2013 21:41

"in a town called honah-leeee!" Love Puff the Magic Dragon!

Anneli or Annelise are nice

Not keen on the spelling of Annalee

What about Anna with Leigh as a middle name?

AlternativeMoniker53 · 13/11/2013 21:38

I went to school with an Annalea, we're approaching 40. Many "anally" jokes to this day from old school friends. I'd steer clear.

DrSeuss · 13/11/2013 21:35

Why does it make me think of "Puff the Magic Dragon"?

TwllBach · 13/11/2013 21:35

I teach an Annalie and I think it is very pretty actually. I don't like Annalee though... I don't know why the 'ie' makes it better than the 'ee...'

SpottedDickandCustard · 13/11/2013 21:34

Love love love Annaliese!

Ds has a friend called Anneli which is pretty.

Agree with womma that you might not want to call your child Annerley (have also lived quite nearby!)

likelytoasksillyquestions · 13/11/2013 21:33

Ha, yes, I was going to say Anerley is an area in South London...

Annalise is lovely. There used to be one on Holby so it's definitely real.

OBface · 13/11/2013 21:33

Anneli is pretty. Annalee is awful.

womma · 13/11/2013 21:30

Annerley is just down the road from me. If you ever went there you'd never want your child to share it's name.

Jenijena · 13/11/2013 21:29

I know an Anneli. Pretty name!

5madthings · 13/11/2013 21:29

Actually my friend spells it anneli:)

MirandaGoshawk · 13/11/2013 21:28

Don't like Annalee, sorry. How about Amelie?
