What do you think? Clare (spelt that way) is a family name and pretty non-negotiable.

I adore it! Meredith is absolutely lovely! Clare isn't my cup of tea but I love the family aspect and the two names work together.

Good name. I have a Meredith, loads of people comment on what a nice name they think it is Smile. She was Merry when she was small but is morphing into a Meredith now she's school age.

I love Meredith and my best friend's little girl has it as a name. It doesn't get shortened, not because her Mum would dissaprove of it getting shortened though. I love Merry as a nick name too though.

Actually I like it more i look at it. Its a complete antidote to all those Silly Milly, Daisy Boo, PixieLala names. I think thats what I meant by serious.
