Marli1980 · 10/11/2013 14:34

This is really nice

MerylStrop · 07/11/2013 22:15

one of my dearest friends is called Lorenzo
fab

toobreathless · 07/11/2013 22:13

Love it, makes me think very strongly of the film Lorenzo's oil.

Makes me think of Jorge Lorenzo...
...Spanish.
I would def assume there was a European influence of some sort.

Leeds2 · 07/11/2013 20:55

I think of the film Lorenzo's Oil.

I don't dislike the name, but I think I would assume Italian roots.

Nataleejah · 07/11/2013 20:44

Yes!
I think of Lorenzo Lamas... Gorgeous man :)

Harrin · 07/11/2013 20:03

The English version is lovely, think if it were my baby I'd be slightly swayed towards that. I'm really surprised with the positive responses as everyone in rl have really disliked it so just looking for some non-biased opinions. She'll be really pleased Smile

I love it and wish I'd been brave enough to use it for DS! He is Laurence so I went for the English version too (always known as Laurie though). My DM often calls him Lorenzo Smile

Rhubarbgarden · 05/11/2013 13:43

Odd without any Italian connection.

Lubiloo · 05/11/2013 13:34

I like Lorenzo and almost prefer it to Lawrence. Like the nickname Enzo!

Beachballfamily · 05/11/2013 11:36

Lovely, but people will definitely assume an Italian connection. Who cares, though?

TheNunsOfGavarone · 05/11/2013 08:15

I love it and nearly named my cat Lorenzo many years ago Grin I agree with BOF it might be a bit difficult for a child to carry off without Italian heritage but the nicknames are good too, Laurie? Enzo?

out2lunch · 05/11/2013 02:06

lawrence

Harrin · 05/11/2013 01:38

I've never heard of the English version! What is it? No Italian roots but is a quarter Jamaican. Not looking to link name to culture though. This is a friends baby btw

love it too - my ds is the english version

BOF · 05/11/2013 01:30

Love it. Might be hard to pull off without Italian roots though.
