It's Zephyr

I know it's a bit marmite but I don't care.
We Love it.
It's a 'real' name,it works with sibling names, gives cool nn's Zeph or Zephy...fits all our criteria Grin

So,Middle names for Zephyr please!

Does Zephyr Robin make a smoosh? Or is it just that Rex is one syllable and begins with an R?

I don't think ZAP ZIG ZAG etc are completely awful....they don't spell out something bad at least...

I don't want Zephyr running into the MN though,eg Zephyrrex.

Oops....posted too soon. Zephyr means wind doesn't it, so the natural theme kind of fits.

Frost is cool

But seriously,I like it Grin

(I think Hebe might make it in as a 2nd MN for Flora,DP is being rather insistent about it...)

show yes we do have very similar taste...I like all of those suggestions but I'm not sure any go with Zephyr....

Zephyr Frost
Or, because he is your third Zephyr Trio?

(I loved Hebe from your potential girls names a long time ago)

Offcolour · 03/11/2013 15:09

Wintry names... Zephyr Rowan, Zephyr Robin, Zephyr Jack (for Jack Frost).

I knew a lovely Zephyr, nn Zef. He's gorgeous.

AbiRoad · 03/11/2013 15:09

Going with 1 syllable
Jude
Luke
Max ( which I think goes well)

I think milo goes ot theo or other name ending in o

ShowOfBloodyStumps · 03/11/2013 15:09

My family names are Frederick, Alfred, Albert and Josiah, so v similar. We considered Josiah actually.

I think we've talked names before as I have similar taste to you (we considered Caspar, Arlo and Asa and two of dd's three names you've used for your dd). I like Abraham (Bram), Hector, Ivo, Rafferty, Raphael, Django, Bodhi, Amos, Emrys, Cassius and many others but not sure any of them go with Zephyr really.

I like the idea of a winter themed middle name (I know somebody with the middle name Winter actually). Caspar fits this (coming from Gaspar) or you could go with Melchior or Balthazar!

Zephyr Dax?
Zephyr Rex?
Zephyr Zane?

Bowlersarm · 03/11/2013 15:02

I like Zephyr.

I don't think you should go with a standard name like James as a middle name. It looks like you weren't confident enough in Zephyr. So a name that is also uncommon like Phoenix that you have used already.

I'm a bit meh about James, but I do like the punchyness of it...
