Thought I'd settled on Flora,having a wobble...need fresh suggestions!

Siblings Skye Matilda rose & Arlo Phoenix,double barrelled surname...

Flora seems to 'fit' well but I'm having a wobble and I'd love some suggestions,particularly of not-too-long-names with nn's...I love Winnie for example...

If you love it , go for it! It's a perfectly lovely name!

It was just the whole Skye Boat Song thing. It was Flora macdonald who dressed Bonnie Prince Charlie up as a woman and helped him escape across the water to the Isle of Skye after his failed attempt to take the throne.
DH and I both thought it but then he's Scottish and I'm a history teacher so most people probably wouldn't see the connection.

I've spent days trawling websites and going over my lists and there isn't a single name that I like as much as I like Flora,I therefore conclude,it is,in fact,The One and the only reason I can't adore it is because I haven't got mine I'm my arms yet

6 ish weeks to go!

It's a pretty name but sisters Skye and Flora would make me think you had a bit of a Jacobean thing going on and that you'd call your son, Charlie!

You're right about Flora conjuring up imagery,I think that's why I can't get over it...If anything is going to beat it,it needs to do a similar thing...

I think Flora has a lovely sound and conjours up Botticelli-ish images to me but there's no getting away from the margarine connection so for me it would always be a no.

Love the suggestion of Tabitha (a personal favourite). How about also;

that's if I can figure out how to upload pictures again....I've done it once and then never been able to do it again

I would really like it sorted before hand though...I didn't have DD's name ready before hand,and I've never been 100% on it,felt a bit railroaded into it hormones and DP's felt guilty about it ever since.
DS's name was decided before birth and I still adore it...
