I LOVE "a ticket of a week". Sounds like something an actor in a WWII film might say.

Unlike Parker

MoreThanWordsforAnyFucker · 24/10/2013 21:14

And married to Kirstie Alley!

MoreThanWordsforAnyFucker · 24/10/2013 21:13

Does no-one my age (mid 40s) remember Parker Steph(v?)enson in The Hardy Boys? He was bloody gorgeous!

PoppyAmex · 24/10/2013 21:08

Odd.

Parker Bridge is a Recruitment Agency in Sydney.

seasidethrills · 24/10/2013 07:58

I really like the name Parker..

Mckayz · 24/10/2013 07:17

It's much better than lots of celeb names. North West being one of them!!

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/10/2013 06:23

Parker Bridge. Sounds like a suicide location to me Sad

MackerelOfFact · 24/10/2013 06:19

It's fine. Not ridiculous, just not that nice. But if they like it, great.

At least they didn't do a Beckham and name him Brooklyn. That would be unfortunate.

foofooyeah · 24/10/2013 04:48

He will get called nosey parker at school. I immediately thought of thunder birds too.

Butwilliseeyouagain · 24/10/2013 04:31

I hear Park a Bridge.

Not that that's terrible or anything. Bridge is probably a bit of an unfortunate surname.

sleepingbeautiful · 19/10/2013 16:09

It just reminds me of the wrinkly plastic chauffeur puppet in Thunderbirds.
I hope they don't have a future DD called Penelope...

AvonCallingBarksdale · 19/10/2013 10:32

I actually really like the name Parker.

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 19/10/2013 10:15

Footballers lack class. What an original thought. Hmm

I personally don't like Parker with that surname and prefer it for girls (Parker Posey) but it's a perfectly name in itself.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 19/10/2013 10:09

I quite like surname type names but it would be better with a surname other than bridge.

I didn't read imoff as being rude/offensive I read it as 'usual suspect comes to the rescue again of judging names as 'chavvy' horay'
Perhaps I read it wrong.

MsJupiterJones · 19/10/2013 08:55

I just thought, 'a ticket of a week', that's a good phrase, never heard it before, so I'm disappointed it's an autocorrect. May adopt it anyway.

I love surnamey names so think Parker is cool but agree it goes better with Sandford.

Sindarella · 18/10/2013 22:14
