That's it really - we love the name Rosie but are unsure whether that should go on her birth certificate or whether we should go for a more formal option, maybe Rose or Rosanna?

Primrose
Briar
Proserpina (Italian version of Persephone)

Rosa is lovely and I have always liked Rosalind (after As You Like It).

Such a happy name

MyMotherHadMeTested · 18/10/2013 09:56

Rose is a lovely name, I'd go with that.

TheNunsOfGavarone · 18/10/2013 09:56

Rosie is lovely but I'd definitely put something more formal on the birth certificate.

A couple more suggestions:

Rosina
Rosalba

I like Rosanna.

Although I know a Rosanna who was called Rosie until university and then was called Zanna for evermore.

Rosalie is pretty, nice idea thanks.

Really not keen on Rosamund, Rosemary or Rosalind - feel too 'old lady' to me and not in a good way.
