For a middle name - something a bit different. First name will be Ambrose, so would like something that sits well with that. Don't mind bonkers either. Thank you.

We keep ending up with initals that spell actual words when put together with our surname and I thought that putting in a different/ additional middle name that starts with a vowel might help get round it. For that reason I don't necessarily mind another name beginning with A, a la AA Gill.

I agree with Austin, it was my first thought. I like Ozzy as the nickname.

Octavius? I think that could work with Ambrose

Amadeus, Aime, Amede, Oscar, Emil, Ulrich, Yannick...

sorry, don't get the connection, why a vowel? Is it just that you think it will sound better?

If you're after a vowel, then I'd avoid A. How about

Wow I love Ambrose.

I think an O name could work. Oscar? Oliver? Oswald? Ozzy? Odin?

Hmmm...
