For a middle name - something a bit different. First name will be Ambrose, so would like something that sits well with that. Don't mind bonkers either. Thank you.

Arlo or Asa?

AbiRoad · 01/10/2013 16:02

I was just coming back to suggest Inigo but see it has been mentioned.
Ambrose Inigo definitely flows.
Or Ambrose Idris.
Atticus (if I was in any way brave with names myself this would be on my list for a boy).
Albus (channelling Harry Potter)
Oron
Odell
Obadiah

It would be truly amazing!

Inclusionist · 01/10/2013 15:15

I do like Ignatius too and Ambrose Ignatius would clearly invent something that would change the world. It's in the same league as Isambard Kingdom!

Inclusionist · 01/10/2013 15:12

Ulric

Inclusionist · 01/10/2013 15:10

My though was Ulysses. I think an 'uh' sound would work well after Ambrose but I'm struggling to think of a name that starts 'U..'

ConfusedandDazed24 · 01/10/2013 15:10

Oh please use Ignatius! I love it! It's a character from one of my favourite books and you could call him Iggy if you so wished.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 01/10/2013 15:07

AbiRoad and BillyBanter -that's where I'm coming from, thank you. IHeartKingThistle I can't see DH agreeing to Zeus, although Ulysses he might...

I have just started another thread on Steampunk baby names as I seem to like a lot of them. Didn't even know it.

OP posts:
IHeartKingThistle · 01/10/2013 14:43

Ooh I like Otto!

OP I do know of a baby boy called Zeus!

BillyBanter · 01/10/2013 14:43

niffernaffer · 01/10/2013 14:38

Do you know any with a Z??!

OP posts:
Artandco · 01/10/2013 14:36

Otto
Arthur
Indiana

What about beginning with 'z' surely that can't spell out much with initials.
