Here's the shortlist of baby names I'm considering that I generated with Mumsnet's Baby Name Finder. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions, particularly for boys!

Boys
Amos
Cormac
Fraser
Hector

Girls

I like Amos for a boy and Claudia for a girl.

Cormac I fear is too prone to teasing/rhyming (starting with BigMac)

Fraser I know is popular in Scotland, but it's ever so slightly (I'm sorry I can't not say it) chavvy sounding outside of Scotland.

Hector sounds too serious, doesn't shorten to anything nice (Hec?) and is quite charmless. Even Fraser, though I'm not keen as above, has more charisma than Hector.

Saffron is pretty but a leetle bit try-hard.

Martha.. I don't see this as very feminine.

Tessa always seems a bit unfinished to me. I like Tess as a short name, like I like Jess, but Tessa... I bracket it with Teresa and Ruth. Very meh.

I like Amos and Cormac. Don't like any of the girls' ones though, sorry! Without knowing what kind of thing you're after (other than, I'm guessing, a 2 syllable name), I'm no help. Oh no, Claudia has 3 syllables, I'm talking rubbish.
