I love both of these names, I wasn't aware of the meaning of claudio, so with that in mind I'd say Clara.

SanityClause · 17/09/2013 21:13

Initial reaction was Claudia, but on reflection, I think I prefer Clara.

MortifiedAdams · 17/09/2013 21:03

Claudia.

Clara sounds like a russion shot putter. id put it in the same category as Gertrude.

hawkmcqueen · 17/09/2013 21:02

Clara!
Beautiful meaning too :-))))
You better tell us what you pick in the end!!!

elcranko · 17/09/2013 20:47

Clara.

CoolStoryBro · 17/09/2013 04:29

Neither. Just go for Claire.

Wingebag · 17/09/2013 04:22

Clara

Claudia.

Clara always makes me think of Heidi and reminds me how irritating I found the character of Clara as a child. But I appreciate that's just me. Grin

Claudia, Clara for no (sane) reason reminds me of an Elephant.

picnicbasketcase · 16/09/2013 21:52

Like both, but prefer Claudia. Smile

I love both these names. I lean toward Clara, though.

IslaValargeone · 16/09/2013 13:56

Claudia

thegreylady · 16/09/2013 13:55

Clara is the prettier of the two.I think Claudia sounds a bit hard.

OurSpoonsCameFromJohnLewis · 16/09/2013 13:54

Clara

PandaWatch · 16/09/2013 13:54

The name claudia predates the Emperor Claudius (from whom the association with lameness is derived). In roman mythology Claudia was a vestal virgin who saved her father from attack. I think it's lovely!

evamummy · 16/09/2013 13:47

Clara or Cara or Lara definately.

Claudia has such an unfortunate meaning - I would hate my dd to ask me why we named her a name that is directly derived from the latin for disabled. There are so many other beautiful names with nicer or no meanings.

charleslingus · 16/09/2013 11:52

Clara

CornishFirstTimer22 · 16/09/2013 11:50
