Nancy or Jude

ILoveMakeUp · 28/09/2013 14:31

Wow! What lovely names! Easily the nicest list I've seen on MN. My choices:

Bonnie Clementine
Buckley Artemis.

Ohmydarlin · 28/09/2013 14:28

Clementine Nancy
Phineas Jude

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 28/09/2013 13:51

TheCountess I need to know what your name is!!!

I love Scout and Clara. Eliza and betsy are good too, you could go for Elizabeth which gives the option of betsy or Eliza as nicknames depending on what suits baby as she grows up.

Barnaby and Jude are nice. I think Scout could also work as a boys name but if it was inspired by To Kill a mocking bird how about Attitcus or Jem? I like Artemis as well.

Balthazar just reminds me of the evil wizard in the smurfs Phineas is cool but makes me think of Phineas and ferb which is a cartoon my DD loves.

IHeartKingThistle · 28/09/2013 11:26

Norah Maud is lovely.

PrunellaDeVille · 28/09/2013 11:15

Wilbur or Celeste
love your lists

TheCountessOlenska · 28/09/2013 07:59

OMG I've NEVER seen my name on a Mumsnet baby name list before! Pick me! (I can't tell you what it is though)

Umm - aside from that, I would pick Romilly and Roan off your list Smile

duchessandscruffy · 28/09/2013 07:53

Beauregard? Really?

TheHappyCamper · 28/09/2013 07:51

Auden Jude and Romilly Eliza.

I like Artemis too. What about Iona?

tammytoby · 28/09/2013 07:18

Violet Clementine
Quentin Ivo

Swangirl · 27/09/2013 23:28

I love Odin and Artemis but I would use Artemis as a girls name because in greek mythology she is a godness.
I also like Hesten and Enid

stopprocrastinating · 27/09/2013 23:06

Sylvie Clementine

Rowan Barnabas

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 27/09/2013 19:47

Still loving Rufus or Asa for a boy, can't figure out good mn's though.

but really stuck for girls names....Flora is top of the list but I really want a back up...

Violet?
Pearl?
Ivy is getting too popular for my liking I think....

You've listed some of my all time favourite girls names. From your list, I'd go with Odette. Adore it. Or else Celeste or Ariella.

Not so keen on your boys names oddly enough unless you're Scandinavian? They don't seem quite natural. In the same kind of vein though, how about Oberon (nn Obie or Ronnie)?

Oriunda · 21/09/2013 13:20

Ophelia Delphi
Rupert bartholomew

Not v keen on boys' list but lots of lovely girls' names

buzzgirly · 21/09/2013 12:29

From your list I think Sylvie Ophelia sounds lovely.

If I get my Sylvie if I can convince dh to have a 3rd her middle name will be Isabella as its a family name.

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 21/09/2013 11:53

What middle names would you use for Sylvie?

OP posts:
buzzgirly · 21/09/2013 10:49

Sylvie and Quinton. I love, love, love Sylvie!
