What are people's thoughts? Still early days but we're already discussing names!

Mimi is it Rex? I love that name! For a human.

MortifiedAdams · 01/09/2013 18:39

When we had DC1 we liked Meg and Max for g/b. Now I have one of them, I wont ever be able to use the other max so please please use it! I love it.

ch1134 · 01/09/2013 18:37

I apologise if I've offended you. I suppose I was just pointing out that the name can mean 'the greatest', which is a lot to live up to.

Tea1Sugar · 01/09/2013 18:22

I'm a teacher. I've taught several boys called Max, some have gone on to selective grammar schools.

Didn't mean to offend - was asked for thoughts and those are mine. Out of interest, how would you spell the plural of Max?

TwoStepsBeyond · 01/09/2013 17:35

...and if you actually are a teacher, surely you should know that the plural of Max doesn't require an apostrophe?

TwoStepsBeyond · 01/09/2013 17:33

charming ch1134 Hmm

ch1134 · 01/09/2013 17:25

as a teacher I always find it ironic that most Max's are not very big or the best at anything. they tend to be average, not Max...

Layl77 · 31/08/2013 20:47

It just reminds me of the size Max or a volume button or something!

I love it (as my name would suggest!)

Its easy for other kids, easy for him to spell and write, uncomplicated.......

And I don't know any other Max's and theres none in his whole year at school!
