Need help with name for 1 week old girl

Our little girl is one week old now and I feel a bit stressed because we can't decide on a name. The husband is very supportive and open for suggestions, I'm the one who feels that no name is "perfect enough". The names we're considering are:

Cordelia - Afraid it will be confused with Cornelia
Adrienne - Unusual, feminine
Lillian - will probably be called Lilly anyway

Names we've decided not to use:
Amelia/Emilia - too common
Lilly - too common
Josephine - I just didn't like it as much as my husband
Philippa - very close relative just named their daughter this
Henriette/Henrietta - Husband said no

We want a feminine name and nothing too out there but not a top 100 name. I thought I'd "know" once I saw her what she'd be called but no... Now I just want to get it over with. So please, any thoughts, suggestions?

Can I add (if not already covered): Arabella, Aurora, Marguerite, Emmeline, Evangeline, Evelyn, Aude. Lillibet or Lisbeth are lovely too.

smithwillsam · 26/09/2013 07:54

I love Amelia. It's a still common and most popular names in the Uk for a girl.

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 26/09/2013 03:11

Amara?

Adrienne is lovely! Maybe Camille?

And congratulations on your wee girl. Smile

forevergreek · 31/08/2013 16:52

Cordelia is nice. Or Cecilia

ohmymimi · 31/08/2013 15:18

Amica

LillyNotOfTheValley · 27/08/2013 18:30

Cordelia is beautiful and fits your criteria perfectly. Adrienne is nice too.
In the same vein, my dd is Antonia

WinnieF · 27/08/2013 18:24

I like Adrienne. Camilla is lovely too - probably would have chosen that for my DD if my sister hasn't laid claim to it already! :-)

telsa · 27/08/2013 14:27

Cordelia is gorgeous.

LazyMonkeyButler · 27/08/2013 14:21

Of your names, I would choose Lillian nn Lily.

How about;

Louisa
Natalia
Nora
Delphi
Iris

BNmum · 27/08/2013 10:09

Claudia
Harriet
Beatrice
Lilith
Jocelyn

I like Cordelia, my biggest concern would be people shortening it to Delia though.

Try calling her your fav for a while and see how it feels, if it doesn't feel right move on to the next and try that. Good luck!

theboutiquemummy · 27/08/2013 07:42

What about Cressida ?

kelda · 27/08/2013 06:55

One of my girls has Adrienne as a middle name after a grandmother. It's a lovely name but I think it helps if you have a French connection.

Layl77 · 27/08/2013 06:50

Cordelia is cute and wouldn't get mixed up! Use it

LeoandBoosmum · 27/08/2013 02:53

I love Vivienne, Iris or Francesca.

Teapot13 · 27/08/2013 02:42

I have a Lillian, so I like that. I don't call her Lily, and I sometimes quietly say "Lillian" when someone else does, but I know that she might become a Lily at school.

I LOVE Josephine.

What about Alice? Sybil?
