It was an Abyssinian maid and on her dulcimer she played, singing of Mount Abora.

According to wiki the it's a family of string instruments some plucked and some played with small hammers and the name means Sweet Song which is pretty, I guess.

It's their siblings Harpsichord (NN Harp) and Sitar I feel sorry for.
