Riley? Really?

I am very surprised to see the name Riley at no. 8 in the Top Ten Boys names. I don't know of anyone who has used this name. I've never come across the name at all. It's above William and James and I know lots of babies/children/men with these names. Obviously the list is correct - anyone know lots of Rileys?

I've never met a single Riley. They must all live in a different part of the country to me!

There were 3 in the reception class at the school I worked in. Very popular in that neck of the woods. Not a posh name, particularly.

I know of one. Not a name I am keen on personally, along with all the other surname type names like Mason, Tyler etc

I know about five. Its a name that doesn't bother me one way or another tbh. I know more rileys than I do Williams, Georges, James etc.

Heard it screeched - don't think anybody I know would use it. I wouldn't have thought it was that popular, it's a pet's name at best.

I don't know any personally, but I've heard it a lot in public. And Bailey, Tyler, similar style of names I think.
