What do people think? (nb I'm not actually pregnant just curious). I came across it recently and loved it but never heard it before. Does it have a history?

Lovely name, underused and pretty.

I like it. Ive got it on my list for any future DDs that I might have. I had an aunt called Alma - she was awesome. Very smart, glamorous and always having adventures.

I prefer Alba.

The only Alma I've "known" was on Corrie.

Alma is a Nans name to me. But they seem pretty popular at the moment.

I'm not a huge fan I have to say. I'd put it on a par with Brenda.

Alma probably does the flowers for her local church and owns many 1980s Laura Ashley floral frocks.
