Dear Wills and Kate, I think he looks like a John.

(DH suggested George Michael as middle names. He said it's what Diana would have wanted Grin)

Brian or Dom Grin

Longdistance · 24/07/2013 16:56

Prince Kevin Grin

David was the name that Edward VIII/Duke of Windsor was known by - perhaps not the most popular person within the royal family so this might be unlikely.

Woodenpeg · 24/07/2013 16:51

LOUIS ALEXANDER CHARLES.

Bet you.

BOF · 24/07/2013 16:43

I like David: it is a bit Welshie, and William is William Wales, isn't he? Also, archeologists have discovered the ancient city of the Biblical King David right on the baby's birthday. It's a sign!

I might go to the bookies.

fanjodisfunction · 24/07/2013 16:34

Im hoping its either Richard, Arthur or Alfred. I think though it might be George, but hoping it isnt. Cant see it being James (her brother and Edwards boy) Albert (Queen Victoria decreed that no King could be called this) or Henry (thats Harrys name)

Beeyump · 24/07/2013 16:31

Or perhaps Canute.

flipchart · 24/07/2013 16:15

lol @ Julia
I was hoping for Tyler as well, just to spite hatchet gob!!

Phoebe47 · 24/07/2013 16:12

I would love them to give him a scottish name as they met in scotland. Alexander would be a good solid name and then they could add a couple of very traditional royal names that he could choose for his king name when the time comes - Alexander William Charles Michael takes in his dad's name plus both grandfathers and Charles and William useful to use as his king's name when the time comes.

Shaboa · 24/07/2013 16:09

Beeyump · 24/07/2013 16:08

"The last 11 monarchs have been Elizabeth, George, Edward, George, Edward, Victoria, William, George, George, George and George"

VivaLeBeaver · 24/07/2013 11:00

Alfred

WorkingtoohardMama · 24/07/2013 10:59

I'd love it if they called him Samuel, so would my ds!

Ds is friends with a boy called prince, prince prince could work!

badtime · 24/07/2013 10:55

Kong.

One of the best names for a future King, I think.

soontobeslendergirl · 24/07/2013 10:45

Edgar is my top choice I think just because the shortened versions of Alfred as either more popular (Alfie) or naff (Alf) - though they could go for Prince Freddie from Alfred too.

soontobeslendergirl · 24/07/2013 10:42

they wont go for a Scottish name given the impending vote and I think Alexander is out as well for the Alex Salmond reason.

I think Edgar or Alfred with David as an outside option.

MsIngaFewmarbles · 24/07/2013 10:39

Ooooh I've got it! Joffrey. Perfect no?

NatureAbhorsAHoover · 24/07/2013 10:35

LOLZ at Tyler Grin

Seriously though - I hope they don't go for George, too staid. And James is her brother's name - wouldn't that be a bit odd, when he's very present in their lives by all accounts? Ditto Charles - honestly, royal or not, would you name your child after your father??

Really liking John or the Scottish royal names - Robert, etc.

JuliaScurr · 24/07/2013 10:34

Tyler Jayden

OBVIOUSLY

PeterParkerSays · 24/07/2013 10:30

Arthur - one of William's middle names and a chance to have a king Arthur in the future Grin

picnicbasketcase · 24/07/2013 10:23

Isn't Prince Edward's son called James though? He'll probably end up a combination of all the same family names they always use - George Charles Philip Henry or similar.

Hummuschocolate · 24/07/2013 10:13

Arthur, George or Albert with some combination of 4 of these as middle names

James
Michael
Charles
Philip
William
Henry

MsIngaFewmarbles · 24/07/2013 10:09

Or Arthur with the same middle names

MsIngaFewmarbles · 24/07/2013 10:09

James Henry Charles William
