I clearly have pregnancy brain, nothing seems like a good match.

We would like a shortlist of 4 or 5 names for each sex so we can see which one suits the baby when he/she arrives . [Grin]

Thanks everyone.

Nathalie - I love, DH does not
Oscar and Willow - we both like but I do feel having saddled DS with such a long name we should be picking a reasonably long one for this one too...
Alexander - one of DH's middle names and he dislikes it!
Catherine - my name (but spelt with a K)
George - already know loads...
Alistair - DH not keen
Oliver - family member has already used
Joshua - as above
Daniel -as above
Naomi - Not keen - dunno why?!
Alice - Too short
Francesca - DH has said no
Anna - family/close friend has already used
Jennifer - possible!
Madeleine - I love this, DH undecided
Benedict - I love this but see below
Marianne - Not keen
Amber - was on shortlist for DS (we didn't know the sex)
Felicity - Not keen
Chloe - This has always been my top girls name!
Elizabeth - Not keen
Elliot - DH has said no (and I can only say whilst doing an ET impression!)
Theodore - We both really like this
Lucas - family/close friend has already used
Francis - Not keen

Not to drip feed, our surname begins with a B and whilst I'm not totally against "B" names (Benjamin was on DS's shortlist) either Benjamin or Benedict would get shortened to Ben and then it's far too close to Benjamin Button for our liking Grin

I think you need a long name with plenty of syllables!

Nathalie. Can't tell you either reason as it would out me, but nice name nonetheless, non?
