Girly names....Clover?

I like unique, but girly names. I did like Lola, but have seen it completely overused and am now pretty off it.

What are your thoughts on Clover? Does it sound like a horse's name? Or a leprechaun? Another suggestions for girly, but different names?

Cow for me too!

Sounds masculine, like Rover. Also reminds me of a cow and butter, sorry.

Hmmm - not keen.

How about:

Amarys
Carenza
Tamar/Tamara
Loni
Lori
Clara

a friend of a friend is called Clover- lovely name, lovely lady.

Ignore all the cow & spread comments (Disclaimer I called DD Stella - got a run of beer jokes..............yawn!)

Crazy! It's bovine, it's a cheap butter substitute and a pest in the lawn. The only good clover is a four leaf clover. How about buttercup? Smile

Clover the Cow? Sorry!

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 17/07/2013 12:37

No, makes me think of cows.

MarianneBrandon · 17/07/2013 10:52

Tastes great on toast

Choccyhobnob · 17/07/2013 10:48

Actually just facebook stalked her a bit out of interest Blush as I'd totally forgotten about her and she is stunning these days!

miaowmix · 17/07/2013 10:47

Love it, wish I'd slipped it in as an extra middle name for dd (still might). I just think of what Katy Did.

Choccyhobnob · 17/07/2013 10:45

There was a girl in my school called Clover, really suited her (she looked a bit like Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter!)

Furzella · 17/07/2013 10:43

Hmm. Think it's a cow's name, albeit a nice cow. What about Posy?
