I love Holly!

I think it's quite classic. Not as keen on Lola although I don't hate it.

TallulahBetty · 17/07/2013 22:04

Holly a million times over.

Disclaimer: I may be biased as I have one Wink

Nancyclancy · 17/07/2013 21:45

I prefer Holly!

Blanketsandpillows · 16/07/2013 21:18

Holly-I really like it!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/07/2013 20:44

Holly isn't to my taste but it is loads better than Lola, which is awful.

Holly.

DonDrapersAltrEgoBigglesDraper · 16/07/2013 19:41

Yes, Lola will date very badly. In danger of being this generation's Sharon or Tracey.

Zynding · 16/07/2013 19:41

Holly

EuroShopperEnergyDrink · 16/07/2013 19:33

Lola is tacky to me. Every other little girl that I've heard of has a cutesy L name like Lola or Lexi or Lilly.

Holly is classic. And lovely. I'm in no way a K-and-nickname-names-are-bad name snob, but Lola will date horribly.

heidihole · 16/07/2013 19:27

Lola = showgirl in my head

So Holly gets my vote

scottishmummy · 16/07/2013 19:26

Lola,I think showgirl.copacabana
Holly it's a bit twee and ditzy
If had to chose I'd pick holly ESP if Xmas baby

LarkinSky · 16/07/2013 19:22

I like Holly best, I'm afraid I often think Lola is a showgirl or the 21st century equivalent, an 'adult entertainer'. Though I know a lovely little girl called Lola and certainly don't think that of her! How about Lara?

Keztrel · 16/07/2013 19:20

Holly, definitely. More classic. Lola is pretty, can see why your DH likes it. I can't really see it on a grown up woman though.

Choccywoccydodah · 16/07/2013 19:20

*and I

Choccywoccydodah · 16/07/2013 19:19

Holly definitely, we chose Holly but has a boy ANSI don't think he would've appreciated it! Also liked Emily Smile

defineme · 16/07/2013 19:17

I love Lola-known lots of lovely Spanish girls called Lola and they weren't worried about Barry Manilow!
Holly is nice too-more classic, but just as popular.
I know 3 Hollys and 4 Lolas in dd's year (age 8).

ELR · 16/07/2013 19:16

Holly but I am biased as dd is Holly!

KLou1105 · 16/07/2013 19:13

I would go woth holly, wat about Layla? X

LynetteScavo · 16/07/2013 18:39

Neither.

nutella81 · 16/07/2013 18:37

Holly

sleepingbeautiful · 16/07/2013 18:30

Holly by a mile

waikikamookau · 16/07/2013 18:16

Well I'm not the world's most masculine man
But I know what I am and I'm glad I'm a man
And so is Lola

Grin
hawkmcqueen · 16/07/2013 18:12

Her name is Lola, she was a showgirl
But that was 30 years ago, when they used to have a show
Now it's a disco, but not for Lola
Still in the dress she used to wear, faded feathers in her hair
She sits there so refined, and drinks herself half-blind
She lost her youth and she lost her Tony
Now she's lost her mind!

At the Copa (CO!), Copacabana (Copacabana)

waikikamookau · 16/07/2013 18:10

I am surprised when people choose Lola, personally , but perhaps they don't the song.
so between the two, I would go with Holly
