How would you pronounce Talia?

I'm not choosing a name, just having a healthy debate with a friend. Around here, I've only heard of it was Tal-ee-uh but she says she'd say is as Tar-LEE-uh.

here, Talia is a common Jewish girl's name and is always pronounced Tal-ee-uh. I have a cousin Thalia - TAR-lee-uh.

This is a relative of mine's name. They pronounce it Tar le ah. They do live in the states if that has any bearing on it?

Might depend on local accents, but around here it would be ta-lee-uh
