Hey,
what do you think of the name Amy? We love the meaning and it's also the name of a very dear friend of ours and we are hoping to use it if we have a DD. DH thinks it may be better to have a longer name with amy as a nn, such as Amelia. Can you think of any other names that Amy could be short for?

I like Amy on its own, pretty without being ott girlie, and I like short names.

You could have Amelie or Amelia, but Amy on it's own is lovely too.

I really, really like it, and there are not many names I can say that about.

I think it is timeless, and to me that is one of the best accolades I can award a name.

You would have no idea how old an Amy is.
