Have been discussing this one for a girl with dh. Possibly for a middle name rather than a first.

But what do people think?

Maybe a variation (I googled):

Chriselda, Gricelda, Gricelle, Gricely, Grisel, Griseldis, Grisell, Griselle, Griselly, Grishelda, Grishilde, Grissele, Grissell, Grizel, Grizelda, Gryselde, Gryzelde, Selda, Zelda

Or give it as a first and go with a nicer nickname?

Well I suppose she would certainly be the only one in the class....

It is an ugly sister name. I'd avoid for that alone. Not fair.

I can't think of one positive thing to say about this name. It's so spiky and abrasive.
