Do you know an Elodie?

Hi!
I'm trying to work out how popular the name Elodie is now in the uk.
When I've started threads on here on this name, lots have said that its popular but its not on top 100 lists and I've not heard of any around here.

So, do you know any? How old are they?

TIA!Smile

The mother's American, I mean.

Linguaphile · 12/07/2013 07:43

Yep, one who is still in-utero. American, though.

Congratulations, it's a beautiful name. I know one Elodie (in London), age 5.

BettyBi0 · 10/07/2013 18:54

I've only met one Elodie. She was tall, blonde, quite horsey and a bit dippy but very nice. I think it is a lovely name

8thplace · 10/07/2013 16:49

I don't know anyone called Elodie.
Its a lovely name. Congratulations.

tableandsofa · 09/07/2013 13:23

DT2's middle name is the male version; Elodin. Lovely name - I love the female version!

CongratulationsSmileWelcome to the world Elodie

It's my daughters middle name so I think its great.

I know of one other - both nearly a year old now.

Flibbedyjibbet · 07/07/2013 23:30

Yes, she's 4. At first I thought it was parents messing with and incorrectly spelling Melody!

AmIGoingMad · 07/07/2013 23:26

I personally love it as you might have noticed from the update that I've just named my daughter Elodie! Smile

I know three. I think it's a gorgeous name

Camdenstyles · 03/07/2013 13:48

My daughter is Elodie and just turned 1. I get a lot of positive comments on her name and how unusual it is. Be prepared for the comparisons to Melody though.

We are in NW London and haven't come across another Elodie yet.

EasterHoliday · 03/07/2013 12:53

I know five of them, all 6 and under. They seem to be multiplying rapidly round here.

MrsJohnDeere · 03/07/2013 12:48
