Sorry for those of you who have already seen my innumerable boring threads about a middle name for DD2, who is due in 8 weeks ( :) ) and will be called Alice. Here are the current front runners - what do you think, and any other ideas?

Wow this thread moved fast! Sorry for having gone awol. fussychica, I love ALL the names you suggest - Alice Eleanor and Alice Olivia would be top of my list if it wasn't for DH. I love Alice Joy but Joy is SIL's middle name and as DH has two other sisters it would just look odd to pick it, though I have considered it as I think it's so lovely. We wanted Alice Rose, too, but a stupid problem arose with that ...

I like Alice Jane and Alice Claire. Akthough they are quite unfashionable names I think there's a nice rhythm. Alice is a lovely name by the way!
