I honestly didn't think anything could make Harley sound worse. You've proved me wrong. Just don't.

8thplace · 26/06/2013 16:48

I don't think Harley its good with your Surname.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 26/06/2013 14:08

No not silly IMO

Littlecherublegs · 25/06/2013 11:52

Go with Joel - love it!

UniqueAndAmazing · 24/06/2013 22:21

it's very very similar to my niece's name.
she got a first name too. but the middle and surname are almost the same.
Harley is her exact middle name and her surname is very very similar (think stately home)

so I think it goes really well and works.

Harley is a cool name (and works for boys too)

raisah · 24/06/2013 22:18

Turniptwirl · 24/06/2013 21:33

Yes especially since the only Harley I know is a girl!

I prefer Leo Buckley to joel

MyNameIsSuz · 24/06/2013 19:28

Though if your DH is really stuck on Harley, can I throw in... Harlan.

MyNameIsSuz · 24/06/2013 19:28

I think Leo Buckley sounds lovely!

KnittedWaffle · 24/06/2013 19:13

Joel or Leo sound much better IMO

kelda · 24/06/2013 19:01

I like the name Harley, but with Buckley is not so good.

Heath Buckley is a good suggestion, similar nature meaning to Harley, which is also an old english name meaning pasture/field.

scaevola · 24/06/2013 18:58

I don't think it does sit right with your surname. (And I'd assume that one/both parents are/were greboes, sorry).

AllegraLilac · 24/06/2013 18:45

Harley just doesn't sound like the name of a grown man to me.

LifeIsBetterInFlipFlops · 24/06/2013 16:58

Yes it's silly.

fussychica · 24/06/2013 16:55

Think we all said we preferred Joel or Leo.
I like
Adam
Aiden
Dan
Tom
Chris
all go well with your surname.

laylastar84 · 24/06/2013 16:45

Thank you for all your replies! Its so hard deciding on a name. I also think Harley Buckley sounds silly I now have proof to show DH!

John Buckley

Ed Buckley

Dan Buckley

Strong male names sound good.

Iseeall · 24/06/2013 14:43

Joel Harley Buckley sounds best. You and dh both get to uses your favourite names.

bugsybill · 24/06/2013 14:36

I remembered your last post and I still think Joel Buckley is a lovely name.

Leo Buckley is nice but it doesn't have the same ring to it. Harley Buckley is a little bit too rhymey. But Joel is perfect imo.

SoupDragon · 24/06/2013 14:05

LOL - misread the start of your post :o

SoupDragon · 24/06/2013 14:05

They're kind of stuck with Buckley as it is their surname.

NappiesandGladrags · 24/06/2013 13:58

Not keen on any with Buckley - however that's just my opinion.

How about

Jonah Buckley ?

Arthur Buckley ?

Joseph Buckley ?

Heath Buckley ?

Noah Buckley ?

Dylan Buckley ?

Tobias or Toby Buckley?

squoosh · 24/06/2013 11:28

Yes, it's silly.

SoupDragon · 24/06/2013 11:23
