Keynes.... Dear oh dear

JacqueslePeacock · 24/06/2013 11:48

Oh, I saw this in "active" and thought it was going to be a thread about the poet! As a boy's name... not so much.

squoosh · 24/06/2013 11:46

My first thought was a Milton I had sex with aaaages ago, he was gorgeous and amazing in bed. Paradise most definitely found that night Wink

Sorry if that's inappropriate!

umbrellahead · 23/06/2013 22:17

Sorry my first thought it Milton Jones too, followed by a cheesy one liner!

Tickledyellow · 23/06/2013 21:51

Feel really bad for you! But almost anything would be better than Milton! Nowt wrong with Ben or Sam! Also most kids actually like to have a pretty normal name, especially boys apparently.

niffernaffer · 23/06/2013 20:39

Oh dear. Back to the drawing board!

No.

50shadesofbrown · 23/06/2013 20:06

Smells like bleach. (unhelpful)

KnittedWaffle · 23/06/2013 20:03

Simpson's friend is millhouse.

Milton is sterilising fluid, shabby place in Kent (Milton Regis) and of course the lovely Milton Keynes.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/06/2013 19:57

No, sorry.

zingally · 23/06/2013 19:55

A disinfectant. Sorry!

HoneyandRum · 23/06/2013 19:50

It seems a bit wet to me, I prefer Miller.

k2togm1 · 23/06/2013 19:50

I like it, because of Milton jones...Smile

EleanorFarjeon · 23/06/2013 19:48

I would immediately think of John Milton.

I quite like it.

Numberlock · 23/06/2013 19:47

I assumed it was as in John Milton...

Makinglists · 23/06/2013 19:47

Sorry - as soon as I saw the thread title I thought 'milton fluid'. Could be an ok name if you could get away from these associations.

poncypony · 23/06/2013 19:46

I actually quite like it, the first thing that comes into my mind is John Milton, and also the fairly famous showjumping horse Milton. Although neither of these are great associations either, I suppose.

FriskyHenderson · 23/06/2013 19:45

I would think Jones or Liquid.

cupcake78 · 23/06/2013 19:45

Not sure that calling a person after a sterilising solution is a very good idea.

Could lead to intense teenage bullying re shooting blanks etc. Sorry

MotherOfNations · 23/06/2013 19:44

Makes me think of rough area in Glasgow.

HoneyandRum · 23/06/2013 19:43

Isn't Bart Simpson's nerdy friend called Milton?

YoungBritishPissArtist · 23/06/2013 19:43

Makes me think of Milton Jones, very funny comedian!

I thought there was a Simpsons character with that name, but just realised it's Millhouse Blush

Fuzzysnout · 23/06/2013 19:42

Milton fluid. No, sorry.
How about Dettol (or is that a girl's name?)

doublecakeplease · 23/06/2013 19:41

I immediately thought of sterilising tablets - sorry! How about Miller?

LeoTheLateBloomer · 23/06/2013 19:41

Says sterilising to me too! Sorry.
