I'm not so sure about the compass reference, but North by North West is a classic Hitchcock Thriller. I still think it is a cool name, given many of the dreadful celeb offspring names. Glad they sidestepped the K Kardashian moniker. I was really dreading Kimye West

Someone said they want her to become a fashion designer so she can have a range called North by NorthwestGrin.

How to show the world you really are stupid or perhaps they are so stupid they don't even know about compass points.

It's not that North is bad its just that they are using the surname west. Awful together.

In the newspaper that must not be named (Daily Mail), she apparently wants to call the baby North and if it takes the father's last name would be North West Shock

Cadence doesn't mean rhythm - it's the end of a musical phrase, and feels either finished or unfinished.
