Am I going crazy?
Is it too stuffy to be granny chic?

Opinions please :)

Sorry don't like it

ImaginaryHat · 06/06/2013 17:36

I'd love to love it as a huge Enid Blyton/granny chic name fan, but I just don't like it, sorry.

Alisvolatpropiis · 06/06/2013 17:36

No. It's awful though still better than Ethel.

lalalonglegs · 06/06/2013 18:27

You're going crazy Grin. Really, it's grim.

blueblizz · 06/06/2013 19:49

I love it. One of my favourite names. I've only met a mum with the name and she was a lovely arty type lady who suited it perfectly. Think eeny (sp?) as a nn cute too.So what that it reminds everyone of Enid Blyton? She is a legend. Go for it!!

Blanketsandpillows · 06/06/2013 19:51

I love it! Suggested it to DH but he laughed!

LifeIsBetterInFlipFlops · 06/06/2013 19:52

I love it.

mum2jakie · 06/06/2013 19:54

No. Just no. Enid Blyton is a great author. The name is just unpleasant. Would you like to have grown up called Enid?

squalorvictoria · 06/06/2013 19:56

I like "granny" names (my DD is Ada) but I'm afraid I can't get behind Enid Grin

CruCru · 06/06/2013 19:57

I think it's lovely but will only go with some surnames.

RugBugs · 06/06/2013 19:57

I like it but DP struck it off our list Sad

Evelyn (as in John) has possible granny-chic and literary links and has made it to our shortlist - I have links to both Lewes and Deptford so it's my out and out favourite.

nowwearefour · 06/06/2013 19:58

Horrible. Sorry.

TurkeyDino · 06/06/2013 19:58

I love it as it was my dear Grandma's name. I don't think she liked it though! I probably wouldn't bestow it upon my offspring for that reason.

usualsuspect · 06/06/2013 19:59

Awful

QuietNinjaTardis · 06/06/2013 19:59

I know a baby Enid. Not my fave name but baby is adorable and like any baby I'm sure she'll suit her name as she gets older.

Selba · 06/06/2013 20:01

EnidClowes · 06/06/2013 20:07

Quite like it ;) although Edith nicer I think

IslaValargeone · 06/06/2013 20:07

It's not a pleasant sounding sounding name.

Mintyy · 06/06/2013 20:08

Edith (Edie) is ok.

chimchar · 06/06/2013 20:08
