Hello lovely people,

So our beautiful little girl arrived yesterday and she's looking like a little T but we can't decide between Tabitha or Tess, what do you prefer?

Thanks for your help!

Tess, Tess, TESS.

LikeCandy · 06/06/2013 21:45

Tess!

JazzAnnNonMouse · 06/06/2013 20:11

Tess

LynetteScavo · 06/06/2013 20:10

I like Tabitha,my daughter is Tabitha, and she really suits it,Tess is nice too though.

DharmaBumpkin · 06/06/2013 17:36

Tess or Tessa, definitely. Great combo with your surname :)

ToTiredToBeWitty · 06/06/2013 17:34

Tess.

Its just gorgeous.

biased as I have one

squoosh · 06/06/2013 17:20

Love both names!

I don't like Tessa though, so would just go with Tess, who cares if it's originally a diminutive. It has such a lovely sound.

I love Tabitha too although it does seem to be a name that divides people.

tungthai · 06/06/2013 17:09

I like both but would go with Tabitha as it goes better with your last name. When you say Tess Thompson aloud the Tess gets lost iyswim?

UnderwaterBasketWeaving · 06/06/2013 16:32

Congratulations! I love Tabitha, and had DS been a girl he would have been a Tabitha.

Instead, we chose another 'cat' name, so of we ever have a DD I couldn't use Tabitha without us looking like a bunch of loons!

MoonHare · 06/06/2013 16:24

Tabitha!

Tess is nice too but Tabitha is best.

FingersCrossedLegsNot · 05/06/2013 22:00

Tessa would be my pick....beautiful!

GW297 · 05/06/2013 21:58

Both lovely. Congratulations!

BedHog · 05/06/2013 19:54

I wouldn't use Tess with a surname beginning with T. At some point she'll be called Tess T, and that sounds too much like testes. Sorry.

Tabitha is a cool name though.

Oh, and congratulations!

Elquota · 05/06/2013 19:39

Tess, definitely!

I really dislike Tabitha - a harsh cat's name.

Ham69 · 05/06/2013 18:58

Congratulations. I love both but prefer Tabitha. Lovely. Just make sure the MN doesn't begin with I Grin

TenthMuse · 05/06/2013 18:43

Can't go wrong with either of those. Tabitha just edges out Tess for me, but both lovely. Congratulations on the birth of little T!

SleepyCatOnTheMat · 05/06/2013 18:30

I like the sound of Tessa Thompson, Tess for short.

bootsycollins · 05/06/2013 18:30

Congratulations Thanks

I vote for Tess x

Congratulations! Thanks

I agree you should try them both out for a few days but my vote is for Tess.

Turniptwirl · 05/06/2013 16:24

Both names are lovely, I think tabitha has the edge for me but both good choices
