What comes to your head when you hear piper?

I love it, other half.. Not so much, I'm sure there is room for persuasion though... Smile

It makes me think of a horse I had called Piper Smile

It's a nice name

OrlaKiely · 21/05/2013 16:38

I like it Smile

Themobstersknife · 21/05/2013 16:36

I think of champagne.

Choccyhobnob · 21/05/2013 16:33

It is a very American name to me - not that that's bad, I actually love it but not sure I could use it just because it would be too 'out there' for my oh!

ChewingOnLifesGristle · 21/05/2013 16:23

Not keen sorry. It makes me think of a big bloke in a kilt with bagpipes.

CPtart · 21/05/2013 16:22

Piper Alpha and that tragic oil rig explosion.

Blanketsandpillows · 21/05/2013 16:19

It sounds very American to me (probably because of 'Charmed'). I don't dislike it...

IslaValargeone · 21/05/2013 16:19

Piper Laurie
Love the name.

KittenofDoom · 21/05/2013 16:17

What Bunny said.

Other than that, it's a surname. Horrible used as a first name.

BunnyLebowski · 21/05/2013 16:15

First thought? A big hefty ruddyfaced scotsman blowing a goat skin.

Not great.

Onesleeptillwembley · 21/05/2013 16:11

Bloke in a kilt blowing, certainly not a name.

TanteRose · 21/05/2013 16:09

The actress, Piper Laurie (Carrie's mum in the original film)

Caitycat · 21/05/2013 16:06

Doesn't feel like a first name to me, I just think of Billie Piper.

TooTiredToBeCreative · 21/05/2013 16:05

I like it, makes me think of tv programme Charmed!
