I keep seeing it suggested on threads, and was wondering of it's particularly fashionable atm...

I have only ever come across one and she will be in her 30's now.

I think Clara is probably more popular.

Also like Cora and Carla.

Christabel3 · 03/06/2013 22:31

There are a few Caras about in Ireland. I wouldn't say it was popular exactly but I do know of two.

chickieno1 · 03/06/2013 21:37

Cara quite popular in Ireland

Beehatch · 03/06/2013 11:15

I know a baby Cara of about 4 months. Lovely name

hollyisalovelyname · 03/06/2013 11:11

Cara will probably become very popular due to Cara Delevigne, the 'it' model of the mo. it means friend in Irish.

Jojay · 21/05/2013 21:02

I don't know any. I've got a Lara Smile

olivertheoctopus · 21/05/2013 21:01

I know one Kara aged 4 and one baby Clara. Only Cara I know is an adult. Love the name.

shartsi · 21/05/2013 19:31

My 18 month old DD is Cara.

moonblues · 21/05/2013 17:27

I very nearly called my DD Cara, but at the last minute went for a different name. After she was born I met 2 babies called Cara, both born within a couple of months of her. Other than that I know 1 Cara and 1 Kara, who are both in their early 30's. I think it's a pretty name with a nice meaning, and it's still on my baby name list. :)

CPtart · 17/05/2013 20:21

I don't know any. Was on my short list but I had two DS!

Giraffeski · 17/05/2013 20:17

I know a 30 year old Cara and a 16 year old. Both very nice :)

FieryChipotle · 17/05/2013 20:07

I love the name but its really gaining momentum in the South East!

mummanj · 17/05/2013 20:05

I know of one baby cara. Think cara and Clara on the rise. Both gorgeous imo.

mummymccar · 17/05/2013 19:18

DD is one but apart from her I've only met two.

ItsallisnowaFeegle · 17/05/2013 15:31

I don't know any baby Cara's but I know an 18 yr old Cara and a 14 yr old Caragh. Both lovely girls.

I think the name is beautiful.

nomoreminibreaks · 17/05/2013 15:29

I know one in her 30s and one who just turned 1 I think. I quite like the name but wouldn't use it as the one who's in her 30s is a bitch Smile

miffybun73 · 17/05/2013 15:24

I know one 2 year old called Cara (in the North East)

meglet · 15/05/2013 22:28

It may become popular as Cara Delevingne is everywhere at the moment.
