Know any little'uns called Hayden?

I think dh is set on calling our first ds Hayden. I quite like it, but part of me is a bit nervous, I don't quite know why, I think sme of the family will think we are nuts. My main problem is I haven't found another boy's name I like.

I don't know that many little boys, but those I know are of the Alfie, Arthur, Harry, Wilfred, Sam, George variety, although none of them live locally.

I wondered how common Hayden is these days?

Met one a while ago - about 3 year old. Lovely little boy and great name!

I know one and like it.

On here it does seem to be tied in with Jaden, Kaden etc whereas I think of it as more classic than those.

I had Hayden down for ds2 but my grandad died shortly before he was born so he got named after him.

Still love it though

Hayden has been in the top 100 boys names each year since 2006 (around 80th) so it is pretty common.

It is about as common as Arthur, but less common than the other boys names you mention (apart from Wilfred which is much lower down the rankings).

Not very common IMO - I only know an 11yo with the name
