Are your DCs names on Coke bottles - a new MN test !

I just picked up my DDs name in Ireland and also mine which I was really surprised about !

DD1 nope, DD2 not either. DH and DS are, Not mine though! Mind you the only place I've found mine was on a necklace at Jamaica Inn, and DD1 was one of fewer than 3 named in the UK the year she was born.

I may have to get ours made up.

Yes my DDs name is on here.
She can't drink coke yet, but might buy it for my DP!

Got my name but spelt differently.
Got my Dads, Mums, sisters and DPs names too.

I might customise one for myself when it comes around to them later this summer.

Could do with a nice cool Cherry Cola right now .:)

Wow, didn't know that! We don't really buy coke due to it being basically pure sugar, but that would be another reason to avoid it!

My girls are, my boy isn't.

But we avoid Coca-Cola anyway due to their crappy policies worldwide, Killercoke it's not a big deal to us, we won't buy it anyway.

They aren't using the current top 100 baby names but the top 150 most popular names over the past 30-40 years!

In fact, they use the most popular 150 names amongst all generations -have just looked at the names and they're indeed all very popular.

Coke will obviously only choose to print common names - so they can sell to lots of coke!

So, by definition, if your name is on their bottles, you're likely to share a name with lots of others. No surprises there really imo.

Got both dcs the other day. They collect bottles/cans anyway so nice to add to their collection.

DS is but he's got a top 10 name which has been in the top ten years.

No coke bottles for me or DD, I'm surprised about mine as I thought it was popular, knew there wouldn't be DD's her name is unusual.

I know I'm not supposed to do this, but I don't care. Our names are relatively common and only DH on the list. He is Paul, I am Joanna, then DSs are Zachary and Charlie. Weirdness.

Just checked the UK list. Youngest DD's name isn't on there! I'm surprised as it was on the Top 10 list of baby names the last I checked.

Mine and DP's names are. Youngest DD a maybe as I haven't found one yet but it's a pretty common name so probably but eldest DD probably not.

DH is, DS isn't, nor are any of the names we're considering for DS2...there's more chance of hell freezing over than finding my name on one!

Sooooo...before I saw the lists were on this thread I just tried to google if DDs name is on a coke bottle...I have discovered that there is a porn star with her name who does something presumably unsavoury with a coke bottle...I am now mentally scarred!

Prospective names for DC2 are not on the list either.

DH and I can get Coke bottles but the DC can't. Which is good because we have told them coke is for grown-ups (like wine Wine), sadly DD1 is now onto us!

One 1 of the 5 has a coke name :( and then it's a different spelling .

I've never come across my name on anything personalised and don't expect I ever will. I was however surprised that neither of my children's names on the UK list, as they are both pretty popular and have been for the last ten years. However dh's name is there, which makes me think that the demographic they looked at for names was adults not children (dh's name v popular in the 70s).
