I have one who is 2. I know another who is 5. I teach in a secondary school and there is about 5 Georgias out of about 1000 pupils. I love it but am biased! We are in Yorkshire

InkleWinkle · 09/05/2013 20:58

Secondme · 09/05/2013 20:13

LOVE Georgia. I want to use it but feel like i cant because my dp's name is George! I dont know any Georgias, and would use it if I could

JojoMags · 09/05/2013 10:16

I lived in Harrogate until recently. It was very common there, but less so up where we are now. Like Georgina nn Georgie too.

strawberryswing · 09/05/2013 09:30

I have one, shes 9 ans a half months. Its lovely :) In Lincolnshire, not popular amongst babies.

GrumpyKat · 07/05/2013 22:18

I teach a lovely Georgia who is 9. And I have taught another who must be about 19 now I think.
West Midlands.

UnexpectedItemInShaggingArea · 07/05/2013 22:15

I have a 5 yo old Georgia asleep down the hall.

It's a lovely name, not too common, not too unusual. But I'm biased.

NigellasGuest · 07/05/2013 22:09

I have one
Not a Jorja but a Georgia that is
She's 16 and i think there is one other at her school. At primary she was the only one for the whole time she was there, but I understand it's a pretty popular name.

TallulahBetty · 07/05/2013 22:04

Jorja? That's... um.. words fail me.

iwouldgoouttonight · 07/05/2013 21:49

I don't know of any at the DC's school or nursery but I think its a lovely name.

I do however know of two Jorjas Hmm

themilkmonster · 07/05/2013 21:45

I know three- one is 11, one is 8 and one was born last month. North of England.

heronsfly · 07/05/2013 21:30

Ive got one Grin, 14 now, only one in her school, primary and secondary,we live in Kent.

dimdommilpot · 07/05/2013 21:25

I know 2. One is 2.5, the other is 15

Iseeall · 07/05/2013 21:20

I know several, mostly around mid/late teens. Bit dated here in the south east imo.

mummytime · 07/05/2013 21:16

I went to school with one, so 47. One is my eldest DDs age, so 14. The third is 8?

WileyRoadRunner · 07/05/2013 21:14

I have one! 8 years old. Have only ever met one other who is 9 now.

We are in South East.

Bibblebobbleparsnip · 07/05/2013 16:36

I have one! She's 10 months old... I also know a 6yr old one and of an 14 year old. Ours gets Georgie and Gigi for short...

GwendolineMaryLacey · 07/05/2013 16:35

There might have been a 15mo one in my house if DH wasn't such a miserable old sod...

TallulahBetty · 07/05/2013 16:32

I don't know any but this.was on my shortlist - hoping to use it next time! Love love love it.

SingSongMummy · 07/05/2013 14:42

I know a five year old Georgia in London.

OneLittleToddleTerror · 07/05/2013 14:41

I know two. One 5 year old, one 2 year old.

SconeRhymesWithGone · 07/05/2013 14:39

I love the name. I think it is more common in the UK than in the States where I live. The only one I know of is DH's grandmother who was a Georgia (from New York).

MaryPoppinsBag · 07/05/2013 13:57

I think I like it though.

MaryPoppinsBag · 07/05/2013 13:56

It's quite common where I live - ex mining town up north.
Almost 1 in every year group in My DC's primary school I'd say.
