Ha!

Lakota · 01/05/2013 12:51

Makes me think of the character from 'Fresh Meat'. Then Jamaica. It's not a terrible name, but the shortening doesn't really work. 'Kings' would be better.

Phineyj · 01/05/2013 12:48

Hull (northern version). Traffic jams (southern version).

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 01/05/2013 12:41

Awful

AThingInYourLife · 01/05/2013 07:26

First reaction: Kingston - baaaad, Kingy - worst name ever

elQuintoConyo · 01/05/2013 07:18

Kingy's clingy thingy's mingy

Kingston sounds like a slave name. Sorry.

raisah · 01/05/2013 07:13

No. Surname/place name as first name I am not fond of. Kingy sounds a bit pervy, some male pornstar name just awful. Sorry

glastocat · 01/05/2013 05:47

Dreadful.

Madamecastafiore · 01/05/2013 05:38

Awful, horrific, common plus and other words that convey distaste.

emmyloo2 · 01/05/2013 05:11

Not my cup of tea at all, sorry.

Chubfuddler · 01/05/2013 05:02

Kingy is dreadful. Sorry.

Kingston is fine unless you're white British. If you are, then I agree with Bunsen. If you're black or mixed race fine.

Gingerbreadlatte · 01/05/2013 04:39

Dreadful. Sorry.

noblegiraffe · 01/05/2013 04:35

Kingy? Like Queenie? Just sounds daft.

ClaraDeLaNoche · 01/05/2013 03:53

Kingy is mingie. Sorry.

Awful, unless you're Jamaican.

NN is just awful, whatever.

HerRoyalNotness · 01/05/2013 01:49

I know a little boy with connections to Jamaica called this. It's his MN but its what is used everyday. For short I think they just use King. The other 2 DC have placename names too.

K8Middleton · 01/05/2013 01:33

Kingy? To rhyme with 'thingy'? Erm, no.

RichManPoorManBeggarmanThief · 01/05/2013 01:30

Kingsley??

Absolutely bloody awful. I would have no respect for someone with that name. Assuming you're white British. If you're from Caribbean origins then fine.

skyebluesapphire · 01/05/2013 01:11

Kingston Town by UB40 springs to mind

Kingy? Sorry but no way.

Still18atheart · 01/05/2013 01:04

Kingston - ok just about wouldn't chose it personally

kingy - sounds too much like clingy

thermalsinapril · 01/05/2013 01:02
