It's actually not a bad name imo, but for me it's a no because the only Deans I have known have been utter, utter bastards. So the name is ruined for me now. Grin i can only think of them when I hear it and the shit they chucked my way.

Silly really, but words can have very strong associations.

But objectively - it's not a terrible name by any means.

I have only ever personally known of 2 Deans - one was a very naughty boy I went to school with back in the 80's and one is a guy I worked with recently who was about 40.

I dont see it as a name for 2013 - as the others have said it seems dated so its a no from me (sorry!).
