I love the name Karen with middle name Claire.

Should I just time travel back 40 years or am I safe to name GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yabvu
But then I'm 40 and went to school with children with these names

havingamadmoment · 13/04/2013 08:32

My youngest is called rosemary which I'm told is dated Grin

I love Barbara, but have taken it off my list because seems odd to think of a baby called that. Maybe one generation about Claire. I also like Sarah.

AmandaPayneAteTooMuchChocolate · 13/04/2013 07:57

I like Karen, and Claire, but not together I'm afraid. I think all the c's and K's in Karen Claire Corbett is a bit of a mouthful. Karen Louise Corbett (just as an example) would flow more easily.

What about Dean, Lee, Trevor, Gavin, Grant, Darren, Wayne, and Bruce? They were all very popular 40 - 50 years ago.

chickydoo · 13/04/2013 07:53

I like them too.
Think there will be a revival before long. I like Louise, Anna, Claire, Jennie, Rebecca.
Maybe dated, but think they sound great without being either pretentious or 'chavy' ( sorry I know a hated MN word)

I hate the name Karen, but I have an awful auntie named that so that's probably why.

I do like Pamela.

hwjm1945 · 13/04/2013 07:47
