Boys names that aren't biblical and don't end with an S!

I seem to really like biblical names (I'm a staunch atheist) or names that end in S (my surname starts with an S) for boys, please take a look at the list below and see if you can suggest anything I might like that doesn't fall im to these two categories! Would also rather it wasn't in the top 150 or unisex! I'm too fussy aren't I?

Amos, Solomon, Abraham, Seth, Rufus, Curtis, Travis, Miles, Angus, Otis, Jasper, Sebastian, Rowan.

If it helps my fave girls names are Claudia, Saffron, Henrietta and Clementine.

Dominic is nice, but a friend of my DSis has one and she shortens it to Domi. She had another mum ask her why she called her son Domino as she could be heard, quite regularly, be saying, "Domi, no!"

The full name is very nice.
I also like Augustin.
Roger is also cool Grin

How about Dominic? (Not sure if biblical- haven't read the bible).
Or Elliot
Or Scott
Or Glen?

But Neo doesn't sound like Neon. Neo is nice, Neon is wanky not so nice. Imvho.
Funny, I never came across it in Italy, I have only heard it recently in the story of that poor little boy whose mum refused cancer treatment.

forevergreek · 06/04/2013 22:49

Neo means new gift

forevergreek · 06/04/2013 22:47

El- really? Family live in Italy and have a Neo. Neo/ neon is a Common name there, and most children are named after relatives ( current Neo is named after grandfather making it 60+ years old at least)

elQuintoConyo · 06/04/2013 22:40

Not Neon, please, not Neon. What next?
Nude
Umber
Teal
Bretonstripe
Cigaretteleg
Bodycon

I may need to lie down.

SatsukiKusukabe · 06/04/2013 21:58

correct me if I'm talking bollocks, but aren't biblical names, just old names that people in the bible happened to have?

it would be like someone saying 500 years from now that they won't name their kid Robert or Sophie because by then the di Vinci code will be the new religion.

pick a name you like.

AKissIsNotAContract · 06/04/2013 21:50

So is Amos but the OP has that as a possibility.

Commander · 06/04/2013 21:43

Sorry but Jude IS a biblical name, Jude is the penultimate book of the New Testament. Great name though so don't let that put you off Grin

Have you seen this website? It shows the number of children each year with each name. So really, some names in the top 50 have less than 1000 children being given them each year.

specialknickers · 06/04/2013 17:02

Go for a 70s name if you want to be ahead of the curve, defo won't be any Kevins or Brians in the top 100!

Jasbro · 06/04/2013 16:47

We had the same name requirements, save the no "s" thing, but I don't have the document to hand, here's a couple off the top of my head and if you're really curious I'll pull out the proper list for you later...

What I can remember...
