Ok so I like simple/shorter names, nothing too frilly, want something cool/surfey/ slightly bohemian but not too try hard....her brother's name is Finn if that gives an idea of our taste.

Thanks so much in advance this is driving us both nuts!

DH wants Finn if we have a boy. We have a girl called Meg (if we happen to jave the same taste!)

MadBraLady · 04/04/2013 10:33

I'm with you, seeker. Truly we are in the end times.

Yeah, the problem with "cool, surfer, Bohemian" names is what if you turn out to be none of those things. My name has been mentioned on this thread and it doesn't suit me at all.

Willow36 · 04/04/2013 10:31

I'm SO not cool but I think these are cool names which aren't wacky.

Layla
Willow
Jem (just sooooo gorgeous)
Georgia

I think Nell/Helen is lovely. Sorry if you thought I was one of the bitchy ones, good luck choosing something that fits and glad to hear you've got more time than you thought. As long as it's something you love calling her it will be perfect.

NB not Biggles, though. Really.

BrittaPie · 04/04/2013 01:44

Give the child two middle names, and make all three names long ones that can be shortened in a variety of ways.

That's what we did, twice Grin
