Which would you prefer. I love both. We are not pregnant yet, just undergoing fertility treatment. Therefore Hope would be very apt. Also Juno as she is the goddess of marriage and fertility. We have a boys name picked which will be Cassius. Smile

I like both (helpful! ) but LOVE Juno the film so would probably go fir that.
Howeve...if you were open to suggestions, Nadia also means hope and Mary means wished-for child.
Hope the treatment goes well x

Juno - great name!

Not at all keen on Hope, sorry.

AnAirOfHope · 31/03/2013 11:06

There is no reaction as its a well knowen name.

She is very content child. She was very easy baby sleeped well and hardly cries. Is checky and laughts alot and genraly a pleasure to have.

Her full name is Hope Brynn Frances Goodwin so when we got her Christened the vicar called her the girl with all the names!

My sister thinks its a miles and boom name cos of our surname

I like the name and it suits her, she is normally called Hope Goodwin and i think it sounds nice.

also you cant shorten it and there is no bad nn or insults related to the name.

My 16 month old is Hope so i vote for Hope as its pretty and timeless and goes with any middle names [egrin]

FingersCrossedLegsNot · 30/03/2013 18:04

Thanks for all the advice, I think it's pretty divided and I still can't decide....hopefully it won't be a case of too much longer to decide, two years is enough Sad

Hope.

I think Juno has been spoiled by the film.

JamieandtheMagicTorch · 27/03/2013 16:48

I really like both, but Hope just wins

AndWhenYouGetThere · 27/03/2013 10:40

Hope definitely - much more timeless and interesting, I think. Juno is very "of the moment".

MERLYPUSS · 27/03/2013 10:37

There is a bull mastif down my road called Juno. Never heard of it before. Q.Nice

mistressploppy · 26/03/2013 22:04

Hope. Juno just makes me think of 'junoesque' which should mean statuesque but is usually a euphemism for hefty

Haveaheart · 26/03/2013 22:01

I wanted Hope on our shortlist, but DH vetoed it.

eachtigertires · 26/03/2013 20:22

Juno

ElegantSufficiency · 26/03/2013 19:44

If somebody says 'is that after the film?' you can say 'no it's after Juno and The Paycock'. And look at them like they're a philistine Grin

YellowandGreenandRedandBlue · 26/03/2013 19:44

Hope is nice.

I wish you well with the fertility treatment x

PipsWife · 26/03/2013 19:42
